You could say Research Road is the heart of the Barossa. Bright purple in the glass. Aromas of red and dark berry fruit leap from the glass. The palate structure is big, bold and a melting pot of dark blue and black berry fruits. 2022 is my favourite vintage in the Barossa over the past six years, and this wine is no exception. Powerful, full-throttle intensity. If your best friend loves Barossa Shiraz, take them this beast. Not for the faint-hearted, this wine has soul and purpose. Bold, lip-smacking flavours that just roll on and on. I am awakened.
