Deep, inky garnet with an opaque black core. The aroma is layers of blackberry conserve, black plum and ripe mulberry intertwined with dark chocolate, espresso and liquorice.

The palate is powerful delivering concentrated black fruits supported by savoury oak, mocha and warm baking spice. Time in bottle has softened the wine, allowing silky, finely woven tannins to frame the generous fruit without overpowering it. Notes of graphite, roasted coffee and dark cocoa build through the mid-palate before a long finish.
