Riposte ‘The Peacemaker’ Pinot Noir 2025, Adelaide Hills

Brilliant in colour, the nose is fragrant and distinctive, with wild strawberry to the fore, supported by thyme and pine forest floor notes that add an attractive savoury edge. On the palate it shows striking shape and structure. Firm, muscular tannins provide a solid backbone, while dark fruits intertwine with rhubarb, plum and fresh strawberry. Fine French oak is well integrated, adding subtle texture. There is amazing drive and persistence here, with the wine carrying impressive weight and focus through to a long, tightly wound finish. It’s a Pinot with both power and charm, which simply mesmerises in the glass. Tim and Nick Knappstein have done it again!
