Schild Narrow Road Shiraz Cabernet 2022, Barossa Valley

Schild Narrow Road Shiraz Cabernet 2022, Barossa Valley

Deep dark ruby in colour. Aromas of blackberry, dark plum and cassis are layered with chocolate, vanilla oak, warm spice and hints of bay leaf, violet and cedar, giving the wine both richness and lifted aromatic detail.

The palate is full-bodied, generous and beautifully composed, led by ripe dark berry fruit, plum, blackcurrant and mocha. A creamy, plush texture brings immediate appeal, while the Cabernet component adds structure, savoury lift and a fine tannin frame. French oak is well integrated, adding notes of chocolate, spice and subtle vanilla without overwhelming the fruit. Rich and powerful yet controlled, it finishes long, smooth and satisfying, with lingering dark fruit, cocoa and warm Barossa spice.

A bold, polished and deeply flavoured Barossa Shiraz Cabernet with richness, structure and excellent balance.
