Margaret River in an easy stride. Dark fruit, a bit of Cabernet grip, Shiraz giving it the plushness. Deep crimson with a purple rim. Blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum, then red cherry, cedar, a little herb and gentle spice. Medium to full. Cassis, blackberry and plum through the middle, French oak adding vanilla, mocha and a savoury edge. Fine fresh tannins with a long rustic finish of dark fruit and spice. Polished. Easy to drink. Great regional characters
