Driftwood ‘Artifacts’ Petit Verdot 2022, Margaret River

Dark and expressive, with brambly fruits, plum, rhubarb and spice, layered with earthy complexity and a touch of Christmas cake richness. The palate is plush and generous, yet still vibrant and fresh, with dark fruit richness, firm puckering tannins and plenty of energy carrying through the wine. For a 2022, this is amazingly bold and fresh. Delightful drinking, with real depth, personality and persistence. I like it.
