Winter rainfall set the foundation for a great growing season.

Pale straw in colour. The aroma is lifted and expressive, with cashew and almond layered through caramel and ripe tropical fruit.

The palate is delightfully stylistic, pure and elegant, yet full and beautifully textured. Ripe tropical fruit leads with pineapple, lemon and lime, while the fruit and fine French oak are seamlessly woven together. There is richness and generosity here, but also lovely freshness, precision and finesse.

Handpicked Gingin clone fruit, whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented, with lees stirring and 10 months maturation in fine French oak barriques.

This is only a baby. I would love to see where it is in another three years.
