A deliberately old-style, richer Barossa Cabernet with a dash of Barossa Valley Shiraz for enrichment and depth. Mid-red with carmine tints, it opens with a lifted bouquet of cassis, spiced plum and subtle black chocolate, framed by soft vanilla oak. The palate is full-bodied and premium in feel, displaying rich cassis fruit with layers of dark chocolate. Persistence of flavour is excellent, supported by bold yet fine-grained tannins and a savoury, well-structured finish. Classic, generous and built for the long haul.
