This vineyard sits right in the heart of McLaren Vale with a gentle northerly aspect, just minutes from the Gulf of St Vincent. Those cooling sea breezes work their magic on the warmer days and it shows. Bold crimson with a solid core. The aromatics are serious with red berry fruits and savoury oak leading the charge. The palate is full-bodied and full of deliciousness. Red berry and blackcurrant fruit sit alongside charry oak and fine tea-leaf tannins. There is real freshness and power here backed with a solid structure and a long savoury finish. A joy to drink even at this early stage. Nicely done.
