BIn the mid-90s we tasted a 1984 Knappstein Cabernet Franc. One of those grape discoveries you don’t forget. This takes me back. Bright, vibrant, medium-bodied flesh. A real pleasure. Firm and also cuddly.

Bright crimson. Redcurrant, raspberry and dark cherry, then violet, herb, black olive and spice. Medium to full. Vibrant red and dark fruit, fine tannin, fresh acid. Savoury herbal line. Quiet oak. Long finish.
