Deep crimson with a purple core. Blackberry, blackcurrant and dark plum, then cedar, tobacco, graphite and spice. Full and richly structured. Generous dark fruit, fine tannin with a mouth-puckering chew, bright acid lifting the middle. Oak folded in for savoury depth. Long finish of cassis, liquorice, spice and a little earth.
