The palate is medium-bodied with mid palate fruit sweetness; juicy plum, red currant and cherry flavours supported by solid tannins and fresh acidity. Restrained oak adds a touch of vanilla and spice while allowing the varietal character to remain vibrant. The finish is clean and persistent, leaving a pleasant combination of ripe fruit, gentle spice and well defined tannins. Plush and forward. I like it.
