Deep crimson with vibrant purple hues. Aromas of blackberry, black plum and black cherry are joined by dark chocolate, licorice and a touch of star anise. The palate is rich and well structured with layers of ripe blackberry, plum and blueberry. Tight savoury tannins provide the depth while notes of cocoa, black pepper and mocha build through the palate. Fresh acidity keeps the wine lively, leading to a long, balanced finish with excellent fruit definition.
